What do I do if my child is tardy?
While we strongly urge families to arrive on time, if any student arrives to school after 8:20 a.m. (including Early Childhood students), parents may walk the child in through the East Double Door Entrance near the small playground. You will be asked to show your child's health screening confirmation to the front desk attendant before sending the student to class.
What do I do if I have to pick up my child early from school?
If you have to pick up your child early from school (either because he/she is feeling ill or has an appointment off campus), please call the front desk at 314-434-4349 when you arrive. You child will then be walked out to your car.
Who do I contact if my child is sick?
You must contact the front desk at frontdesk@kirkdayschool.org or call 314-434-4349 to notify the school of illnesses, tardies, early departures and carpool changes.
If your child has been exposed to COVID-19 and/or has tested positive, contact Maria Massey at maria.massey@kirkdayschool.org and follow the KDS COVID Protocols.
If my child is out sick, how do I get his/her homework?
If you have to pick up homework for your student because he/she is out sick, please call the front desk at 314-434-4349 when you arrive. The front desk attendant will then place your books on the steps outside in front of the East Double Door Entrance for you to pick up.
